Sanosara Cricket Stadium
Located in the outskirts of Dhrol Taluka, Sanosara is an upcoming Stadium for Saurashtra Cricket Association. It is a pavilion with a combined footprint for two world class pitches.
The design was born by fusing the two individual structures for the pavilion generating a valley like structure between both the grounds, providing panoramic views.
The main volume is lifted up to provide visual access of the stadium from every point of the pavilion. The combined footprint intelligently juxtaposes the common functions reducing the overall footprint.
The parametric clock tower is an abstraction of the progress experienced by the cricket fraternity under the tutelage of the legendary Niranjanbhai Shah. The pointed summit foreshadows the bright future SCA has under the new leadership of Mr. Jaydev Shah & Mr. Himanshu Shah.
